LMA | Lagos Maclean Abogados participated in the Second Congress of H2V Project Developers in Antofagasta, an event organized by H2 Antofagasta with the support of the Antofagasta Regional Government and the Ministry of Energy Chile. The Congress brought together nearly 200 participants from across the green hydrogen value chain, including project developers, authorities, suppliers, and representatives from academia. The turnout was significant, reflecting the growing interest and commitment of various stakeholders in developing this emerging industry.
During the event, high-level presentations and discussions addressed both national and regional aspects of H2V, with a special focus on critical issues such as permits, infrastructure, and financing. Our lawyer, Claudia Quappe Vatter, moderated the panel «Current Context of Permit Management in H2V Project Development in Antofagasta,» alongside distinguished panelists from the public and private sectors. These discussions underscored the importance of collaboration and strategic planning in overcoming regulatory and technical challenges facing the development of such projects in Chile.
